The Aquarium: A wide, spacious swimming pool with attendant facilities such as a kids’ splash pool, a water slide, recliners, side patios with picnic benches and parasols, etc., complemented with a variety of training, safety and play equipment (floaters, lifebuoys, balls, nets, lap markers for competitions, etc.). The Aquarium is a perfect venue for quality, affordable and fun training in swimming, with trained lifeguards/instructors on hand at all times. Periodic swimming galas and competitions are arranged and hosted as well. The Aquarium also hosts scheduled poolside events such as live gospel music gigs, outdoor movies-on-the-lawn showing on giant screen, picnics, birthday parties, etc. Coming soon: A sand volleyball court. Praise Aerobics: Alive? Got Breath? Then Praise the Lord! And get lean, trim, fit and healthy while you do! The Maisha poolside praise aerobics classes will have you moving, lifting and sweating to non-stop inspirational, uplifting music, while worshipping your way to good health!

Boardgame Bonanza: At Maisha, when it comes to board games, we believe in living large – literally, that is! Our giant board game collection is designed to be unique and engaging, immersing players into the games at a whole new level. All-time family favorites such as Twister, Hopscotch, and Monopoly all combine with more traditional board games like Chess, Ludo, Checkers and Scrabble, but with one difference: all are played at larger-than-life scales. In fact, in some cases, the players themselves are the game pieces! Fun galore!
These are just a few of our unique offerings. Of course, it goes without saying that our expansive lawns cater for a wide variety of outdoor games like soccer, netball, badminton, dodgeball (or kwepena, as it is locally known), tag (kawuna), manhunt (tapo), kubb or woodball, bowling, skipping, running, jumping, climbing … the possibilities are endless!
