The Maisha Centre, a faith-based, family-focused recreational centre located in Nakuwadde-Bulenga off Mityana Road, is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Business Development Manager.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing Maisha’s business propositions, offerings and opportunities. As part sales representative, part market analyst, and part business analyst, you will be primarily in charge of sales and marketing, but also strategic planning, budgeting, financial management, and customer service. In short, you will be responsible for pursuing strategic opportunities by maintaining and improving existing product offerings, developing new product offerings, maintaining existing markets, entering into new markets, forming lasting business partnerships with new and existing clients, and managing ongoing engagements and contracts.
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following core tasks and functions:
- Carry out market analyses to identify and map client needs to the business products
- Create, develop and nurture relationships with potential clients
- Attract, acquire and maintain new clients
- Retain existing clients through competitive service delivery and customer delight
- Create and market new and exciting products and service packages to both new and existing clients
- Oversee the administrative function of ensuring that staff of the Maisha Centre deliver a quality and memorable experience to its clients at all times, in conformity with the company’s value propositions.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business or marketing field, or its equivalent
- At least five years of hands-on experience in a related role, preferably in the hospitality industry
